Best astrophoto for 2012
Several hundred astronomy images have appeared on psychohistorian.org during 2012. These two have made it to the top of my list for the year.
During the March conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, Kos Coronaios (pictured in the left-hand image) invented a new measure of angular separation.
And in February, A. Nonymous demonstrated why it is wise to use a tripod when photographing the Moon.
Readers are invited to choose from these two educational images their favourite.
A small prize will be awarded for the winning entry.
